This is a collection of works by Wolfgang Tillmans , a German photographer based in London and Germany, who won the Turner Prize, one of the most important awards in the contemporary art world, in 2000 .

The subject of the photograph, Conor Donlon, is the author's former assistant and owner of the London bookstore, Donlon Books.

The photos were taken over a period of 15 years and, through the eyes of his friend Donlon, are arranged in chronological order to portray the friendship between the two men, as well as London's lifestyle, cultural scene, and nightlife, as well as its evolution.
